I officially have 8 days left before this baby is supposed to make his arrival! Michael has been really well behaved the last week or so and will probably try to stick it out the entire 40 weeks. I'm hoping he'll make his appearance early next week. I'm such a dork! All of my plans stem around Adam's and Jenna's work schedules. If he is born monday night on the 8th then Adam will only lose 20 hrs of work that week and Jenna may not miss any. If he holds on till the 13th then Jenna will miss 3 10 hr shifts and Adam will have to miss about 30 hrs. But somehow I don't think its up to me.... As far as my health, I'm doing really great. My BP is still low, I've had very little swelling and I can touch my toes (if I try hard).
Jacob, Emily, and Jay are getting really excited about Michael. Emily keeps holding her hands about 8 inches apart and asking if Michael is "this big? or this big?" And everytime Jay finds a baby item he says "MOM, MOM, itths foor baby Michael" Yes, with a lisp. Jacob wants to be there for the birth and as long as its during the day we're going to let each of them visit during labor and maybe the birth (with censoring of the actual delivery). Jacob has been so curious about the whole pregnancy process, even asking how the baby got there and how he'll come out. These have been fun questions to try to answer. We try to give him correct yet not overwhelming answers. He even looks at all the baby in the womb pics with me on web sites and watches Michael grow.
As for Adam....I think he's just trying to hold it together. He tends to get quiet when he's worried and stressed. Adam. Quiet. Ya know he's tense.
