Almost a month...I'm such a slacker

Ok, so he's almost a month old and I'm just barely posting photos of our newest Angel. In my defense I've been a little busy the last few weeks and I'm definitely not getting enough sleep! But here they are, pics of Michael at two weeks. And now I have to take his one month photos. It will probably take me another month to get those posted. Sigh.....

Jake, Emma, and Jay are absolutely in love with Michael. They are always asking to hold him and Jay is the first to say "baby Michael crying!". Yes, thank you captain obvious. They are just so concrned about him and Jay carries around Emma's doll and says "Baby has owie" and makes me kiss it. Even Max gets upset when Michael cries. He starts whining and trying to get our attention until we pick up the baby. He's adjusting well even though he lost his playmate (Pepsi went back to the breeder we bought him from).

As usual, Adam is totally enamered with his new baby. I have to remind him to put him down so he can learn to put himself to sleep. I think if Adam didn't work he'd never let the kid out of his sight.
I want to thank everyone who's supported us over the last month and also everyone who has sent gifts. He has some of the cutest clothes of any baby I've ever seen! And ironically all his pics here are with him naked...don't worry I'll try to get some with clothes on for the next round.

A funny thing happened on the way to...

Well a funny thing happened... I went into labor about 4 hrs after my last post and Michael was born that night. It was quite a whirlwind. I was admitted into the hospital at 7pm and he was born at 9:51pm. 3 contractions, 5 pushes and he was born a healthy 7 lbs 3 oz and 21 inches long.
We were so lucky that we were able to have Jacob there with us for the birth. I also had great support with my awesome Mother in law and Sister in law Allison. I was able to deliver with no help from pitocin just a little help from the epidural. Yes, we love the anethesiologist.

The cute beanies we're wearing were made by Jenna. She's the angel who watched Jay and Emma while we were busy at the hospital.

I really wish my parents could have been there with us but they don't get home from there mission until Dec. I can't wait!
